Wear Living Flowers in three easy steps!

To wear fake flowers in your Fleurings jewelry skip the first two steps. Even by themselves, without any flower at all, Fleurings are beautiful.

1. Take your new Fleurings pendant or earring and fill it with water. Do this by running the tap very low and place the hole under the tap until all bubbles come out.

2. Use a flower stem or pointy object to help get bubbles out especially on the first use.

3. Cut your flower of choice to an inch long. Place the stem into the mouth of the piece at the top. Make sure you push the flower stem all the way down and make sure that it fits snugly.

RECOMMENDED LIVE FLOWERS

All recommended flowers have stems that will most likely fit your Fleurings. These flowers are easy to find at most local nurseries, grocery stores, florists and even many places online where you can buy them and have them shipped right to your home. Trader Joes has an excellent selection of cut and potted flowers (namely orchids) for affordable prices. Buy a bunch of cut orchids and keep them in a vase, while you wear a new flower everyday for over a week. Better yet you can even see what small flowers are growing near your home and make a little arrangement from those.

ORCHIDS

Dendrobium Orchids come in many colors. Most commonly they are white, pink, violet, and purple and sold in bunches at your local grocery store or florists. Buy a bunch then keep them in a vase in your home so they stay fresh. Great for special events.

Phaelanopsis Orchids also known at the Butterfly Face orchids come in many colors. Most commonly you will see them in white, magenta, pink, various shades of yellow, green and purple too! They come in many sizes too. Large varieties look great worn in one earring or in the pendant. Cut the stem at an angle if it is not fitting into your earring. The pendant has a slightly larger opening and is best for these larger varieties.

MINI ROSES

Mini Roses come in many colors. Most commonly they are red, white, yellow, and pink. Mini Roses are usually sold in pots in grocery stores, florists and nurseries. Buy the pot and use the flowers as they bloom in your Fleurings. They work well planted outside too. Great for Weddings & Proms.

DAISIES

Daisies are another fabulous fun choice to wear in your Fleurings Jewelry. They commonly are found in white and yellow but there are many other fun varieties that are purple and blue too! They make a great youthful accessory, fun for sunny summery days. As a suggestion one big daisy flower looks great in just one earring and your hair pulled over to the other side. Great for funky getups and casual wear. Additional Advice & Styling

STYLING

As a rule of thumb, use small flowers when you wear both earrings. Big flowers look good if you just wear one at a time. The bigger the flower the bigger the statement.

As a suggestion if you choose to wear two earrings with your flowers on each side it looks very nice to pull your hair back.

Match flowers to your wardrobe - consider style and color. Orchids and roses look great with dressy outfits, bridesmaid dresses and wedding gowns, daisies are more causal for a more hippie relaxed look.

CAUTION

Rinse any flowers that you use especially if they are from an outdoor garden.

Do not wear your flowers in high heat, they will not last long even though your Fleurings carry water. The more sun and heat your flowers endure the more they wilt. Cool spaces = happy faces. Make sure that there are no small bugs of any sort on theflowers before you use then near your face or hair.

Do not use poisonous or harmful plants/flowers in your Fleurings. Do not touch or ingest harmful plants or flowers. We are not responsible for any allergic reactions you have to flowers that you choose to wear. Use at your own discretion.

Be cautious about giving and receiving strong hugs and kisses because pressure will damage the petals of your flowers -- just be careful! Don't touch your flowers too much! the more you mess with it the less it will last.

Often times, flowers that have extremely thin petals will not last long once they are cut from the plant and are therefore not recommended for usage in Fleurings.
